Clean spots and stains immediately

Always try to clean spots and stains immediately, that way you will have a much better chance of removing them.

Remove as much solid material as possible by scraping gently with a spoon or a dull knife.

Absorb wet spills as quickly as possible by blotting repeatedly with white paper or white cloth towels. Blot the spill rather than rubbing or scrubbing as this may lead to damage of the fabric. Work from the outer edge toward the centre to avoid spreading the spill.

Remove as much liquid as possible until there is no more transfer onto the towel.

It may be possible to remove greasy stains with a dry cleaning agent - always pre-test the cleaning agent on an inconspicuous part of the fabric for colour fastness and shrinkage and allow drying time.

Rinse the cleaned area as thoroughly as possible. Cleaning products left in the fabric can result in dirt being attracted. Water marks or rings may appear if care is not taken to dry out the treated area evenly. This can be achieved by feathering out the edges or dampening the entire panel.
